The Immigrant Integration Index in Romania is an annual study that aims to describe and analyse the integration of immigrants in Romania, developed so far in two research projects (each with two stages) funded by the AMIF and managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs through the General Inspectorate for Immigration:
I. ”CRCMIS – Romanian Center for Research on Migration and Social Inclusion” – Stage I (FAMI / 19.03.01.01) and Stage II (FAMI / 19.03.01.02):
• Implementation period: January 2020 – January 2021 (stage I) and January 2021 – January 2022 (stage II);
• Partners: Center for the Comparative Study of Migration, League for the Defense of Human Rights – Cluj branch (http://ladocluj.ro/), Romanian Association for the Promotion of Quality and Successful Practices (https://migrantbrasov.ro);
• General objectives:
1. development of a conceptual framework for documentation and information on the integration processes of immigrants in Romania;
2. development of research tools regarding the study of the integration processes of immigrants in Romania;
• Main activities:
1. Collection of data among migrants and among the general population and elaboration of studies on these topics;
2. Data collection from public institutions and development of the online platform;
• Venue: at national level;
II. “CRCM – Romanian Center for Migration Research” – Stage I (FAMI / 16.01.01) and Stage II (FAMI / 16.01.01.02):
• Implementation period: December 2016 – December 2017 (stage I) and December 2017 – December 2018 (stage II);
• Partners: League for the Defense of Human Rights – Cluj branch, Center for the Comparative Study of Migration, Intercultural Institute Timisoara;
• Main activities:
1. Collection of data from migrants and elaboration of studies on these topics;
2. Data collection from public institutions and development of the online platform;
